Over 80% achieve an E Rated EPC

Over 80% of F & G Rated EPCs achieve a minimum E Rating using our Uplift Calculation without having to spend a penny on property improvements.

Case Study….

EPC Uplift of Victorian Student Accommodation to achieve an ‘E’ Rating.

The University of Leeds working closely with Fading Footprints maximised their EPC ratings on their Student Accommodation using a “Tailored EPC” Method that uses ACTUAL consumption and fabrication data rather than the industry standard “Energy Intensive – Default EPC” method. The “Tailored EPC” Method included: Actual Heating efficiencies and correct fabric U-values Calculation run through a “3D Energy Modelling” software; to ensure a higher degree of EPC accuracy.

The “Tailored EPC” method improved the ratings of 50% of those properties surveyed by one EPC banding to either a “C”, or “D” rating, without having to inject capital into the properties. The improved ratings will enable the accommodation to be rented out to either 2025 or 2030; when EPC ratings of D and C are due as a minimum respectively. This will help secure the rental income over a longer period under the “Minimum Energy Efficiency Standard (MEES) regulation.

Fading Footprints have worked with the University in a very successful collaborative partnership to provide some 50 plus Display Energy Certificates (DEC’s) over the last three years.
They have provided technical advice and support on additional energy related issues professionally and within very tight time-scales.

University of Leeds

Fading Footprints have demonstrated a good understanding of the requirements to produce Commercial EPCs and Display Energy Certificates (DECs) and provided a quality service to West Yorkshire The delivery of such information has been on a timed basis and Fading Footprints have always delivered on time and in some in-stances at very short notice.

West Yorkshire Combined Authority: METRO

I have been involved with Daniel Relton and his company, Fading Footprints Ltd, for a number of years and can confirm he is a honest and credible person. I can confirm he also has 100% pass rate for audit compared to the national average of 60%. Daniel also runs a Green Deal Organisation that requires a Quality Management System that has to meet very high standards as set by DECC.

BRE Global Ltd

We have worked closely with Fading Footprints over many years since the inception of Commercial EPC’s and Domestic EPCs and can confirm that the level of service provided has been first class.Just as important we have been impressed by the high level of knowledge from Managing Director Daniel Relton who certainly knows his subject inside out and carries out thorough research and due diligence.

Leeds Trinity University have employed the services of Fading Footprints over the past years since it was law to provide and Display Energy Certificates (DEC’s). We have found them to be very courteous, knowledgeable and professional in their surveys and the production of these Display Energy Certificates (DEC’s) for the many buildings on the University site that are required to have them. They are also very competitive in their costs for these works. I can therefore without hesitation confirm that we are very satisfied with employing Fading Footprints to carry the work on DEC’s for us on an annual basis.

Leeds Trinity University

Over the last 4 years Yorkshire Water Services Ltd has developed a good working relationship with Fading Footprints, who provide Commercial EPC's and Domestic EPCs for our commercial and residential properties. Daniel has also assisted with developing a strategy to monitor our energy consumption in our office buildings in the form of Display Energy Certificates (DECs). Whilst were are under no current legal obligation to produce and display such documents, it has naturally allowed us to benchmark or energy consumption figure with the view to reduce.
